The word “freedom” gets tossed around a lot these days. 7 year-old Mila follows her feet to freedom, dancing all around town until she feels like she’s flying. If you find yourself unsettled in the coming days, you might want to try it too.

There are many studies proving what humans have known for millennia about dance - it can be very good for you, from the physical and social benefits to relief for anxiety and depression.

Mila loves painting, creating stories with her drawings, reading, chocolate ice cream, and of course, dancing.. She believes in fairies, and makes houses for them and her dolls. Mila is a Cuban American living in New Jersey.
